I don’t need insurance… do I?

If you were to die today, would others be impacted financially?

If you have debt and family responsibilities life insurance is the most common tool for making sure that in the event of an unexpected death those who are left behind will not be burdened by financial pressure at such a traumatic time.

If my income ceased for an extended period due to ill health would it impact on me and others financially?

Your ability to earn is your second biggest asset after your health. Both of these assets should be protected. It is a common fact that while we insure our cars and homes we often ignore the importance of the two most critical assets.

If I suffered a major illness or disability would it impact on me and others financially?

Having cover against the possibility of a major trauma is also considered as part of a solid risk strategy.

Insurance is often seen as complicated and therefore put in the “too hard” basket.

At Cohorts we understand the importance of focusing on your needs. We place significant emphasis on education, so we work in partnership with you to ensure that our recommendations are relevant and easy to understand.

Cohorts provides comprehensive written reports & expert advice based on your individual needs.

In todays environment legislation requires that an authorised advisor provides comprehensive written reports that are prepared after gathering all of your relevant information.

The value of this is that you have a living document that has identified your areas of risk at a given time.

Another legislative requirement is that as our client we have an obligation to review your policies on an annual basis. Having the written report allows any changes from the original report to be identified and worked through.
